Rapid Hockey Concentration Program at Royal Vale School
As a leader in player development for over 20 years, RHD’s primary goal is not only to train our athletes but also to provide them with the exposure and support they need to reach their objectives.
RHD’s unique Elite Hockey Program at Royal Vale School offers both on and off ice training and will allow student-athletes to train throughout the school year under the tutelage of experienced hockey people. Our approach to individual development builds a strong foundation, which is paramount to reaching one’s full potential.
Having gone through the same challenges that many of our students will face allows us to navigate the bumps in the road and keep distractions to a minimum. From athletics to academics, our team will be present both at the rink and in the school to support our student-athletes in the program. We will ask that their academics keep pace with their hockey development so as not to limit future options.
Whatever your goals, RHD will help students and their families map out a strategy that will maximize development and opportunities.
The 2018-2019 academic year will bring change for Rapid’s hockey concentration program at Royal Vale. We will be entering our 4th year at the elementary school level, continuously adding to its curriculum. The announcement of our new high school program for grades 7 and 8 is great news for all parties involved. We are very excited about the opportunity of keeping our graduating grade 6 students in the program, as they move on to the high school program. This is a very thrilling step for both Rapid and Royal Vale and we look forward to this new venture and opportunity for our student athletes.
The Royal Vale program runs from the beginning of October to the end of April, including over 60 hours of on-ice development, 50+ hours of off-ice development and games.
